Located in the heart of downtown Boston, St. Francis House is Massachusetts' largest day shelter, welcoming more than 600 individuals each day. Here, our refuge, recovery, employment, and housing services work in unison to offer a seamless continuum of care, designed to empower our guests.

Inside our doors, individuals find essential resources—food, clothing, and a safe place to rest—while also discovering pathways to transformation. Through a holistic approach that addresses behavioral health, housing, and employment needs, we help our guests build a foundation for a brighter future.
